Engineering Manager (Level 3 or Level 4)

The Engineering Manager role activities include:

Plan and Manage the Engineering activities for including;
o Contract SoW and DID development
o Technical Tender Evaluation Working Group
o Technical Support to Contract Negotiations
o Working Groups within the contract
o Engineering changes and configuration changes
o Review, comment and approval of contract deliverables including seeking Subject Matter Expert review where required.
o Mandated System Reviews in contract
o Technical risk management and reporting
o Technical Progress reporting to the Principal Engineer (PD) and Project Director (PD)
• Obtain Delegated Technical Authority under Landworthiness.

Essential Criteria:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Engineering Management
o NV 1 Security Clearance
o Min 5 Years’ Experience in an Acquisition or Shipbuilding Role

Desirable Criteria:
o Chartered Engineer Status or ability to achieve Chartered Engineer Status in 24 months
o Management Experience in Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects
