Qualifications | § Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent work experience |
Responsibilities | § Apply System Engineering skills to design and develop a defensive cyber operations environment § Work as part of a team to deliver work against a demanding schedule § Work within a complex environment with many key stakeholders to produce a defence capability § Produce various technical and non-technical documentations such as SOP, HLD, DLD, SAD, and SOD § Work within the Technical Governance frameworks of defence, specifically with a focus on ICT and Cyber Security. § Communication of complex technical and operational subjects into readily understandable concepts § Review and comment on various documentation |
Experience | § Strong background as a System Designer on medium to large size projects § Experience creating high level/low level designs and reference architecture § Demonstrated experience with Linux administration (CentOS and Debian), Windows administration (Server 2016/2019 and Win 10) § Experience in routing, firewall, and network troubleshooting § Experience in VMWare technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, and Horizon § Demonstrated experience with configuration management technologies such as Ansible § Technical experience in general information security best practices § Knowledge of cyber operations and tool sets § Knowledge of Systems Engineering techniques § High level communication skills § Hold or have the ability to gain and maintain and NV1 security clearance |
Other | § The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen). |
