Maintenance Controller

§  Qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma, Cert IV) in an Engineering or Maintenance related field

 

 

Responsibilities

§  Develop and establish the COSPO Maintenance Recording system

§  Management and execution of the COSPO Maintenance Management System (MMS)

§  Monitoring the operation of the COSPO Maintenance Support Network (MSN)

§  Regular liaison with the Cyber Unit’s Unit Maintenance Managers (UMMs)

§  Regular liaison with and provision of direction to the Leidos maintenance team regarding JCOMS and DCR maintenance activities

§  Monitoring maintenance records to ensure they are accurately recorded

§  Review the Technical Maintenance Plans (TMPs) to determine their continued applicability

§  Manage the incorporation of design changes, by the Cyber Units, both hardware and software

§  Liaison with the COSPO Configuration Manager regarding developing Engineering Changes and their incorporation as modifications into the COSPO supported systems

§  Undertaking trend analyses of equipment faults

§  Identifying the need for defect investigations 

 

Experience

§  Undertaken ADF platform support activities as part of a System Program Office (SPO)

§  5+ years Systems Engineering and/or Systems Maintenance experience

§  ITIL certification (desirable)

§  Strong Defence platform support background

§  High level communication skills

Other

§  The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen).
