Project Support Officer

There is a requirement for a Project Support Officer role to provide program support to the Project Manager (PM) of Mission Systems, Joint Strike Fighter located in Canberra, ACT.

 

The Project Support Officer role will be required to assist the PM in the coordination and ongoing management and delivery of the Mission Systems tasks and milestones. More broadly they will support the ongoing management of the project, schedules, and deliverables across the Joint Systems Fighter branch.

 

  • Coordinate Risks and Issues Management
    • Update R&I in PREDICT
    • Organise Risks and Issues Workshops
  • Responsible for management of the GH schedule
    • Coordinate updates from parties responsible for components of the schedule
    • Publish at regular intervals
    • Coordinate with the JSF PSU to maintain consistency and updates
    • Advise of upcoming and late tasks to ensure project stays on track
  • CDRL Management
    • Receive documents from SRC-Inc and file in Objective
    • Coordinate response/review from DEWC and GH SME
    • Respond to SRC-Inc
    • Keep track of CDRL (and other document items) via the schedule
  • Other tasks may include
    • Assistance with GH Sustainment contract development and management
    • Coordinate Stakeholder engagement forums, e.g. TPWG, Project Board, Governance Board
    • Assist with managing tasks via the creation of a project WBS
    • Support the project team with input to the project governance framework.

 

The Project Support Officer will provide effective support to meet the following deliverables:

  • Effective and efficient support to Mission Systems JSF program management team;
  • Prepare correspondence, briefs, and reports as required including submissions and documents for higher delegate consideration; and
  • Input into program schedules, milestones and assessing risk and identifying issues and concerns.
