Security clearance: Police Check MUST be provided (if shortlisted as suitable)
Duties include:
- Work with business stakeholders, users, business analysts, project manager/s, architects to understand the challenges that are needing resolution
- Define and document solution designs that cover IT and non-IT solutions adding business value and meet the current and future needs of the business
- Work with managed service providers and third party providers to develop solution options that factor enterprise ITC and non-ICT enabled options
- Create and review technical and non-technical documentation including solution approach to markets, costings, resource and capacity requirements
- Identify solution opportunities through research, analysis, discussions and workshops
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders (including CIO, architects, project managers and technical/business SMEs) to gain agreement on overarching solution designs
- Commit to solution and infrastructure design decisions ensuring effective, secure, scalable and flexibles solutions are of the highest practical standard
Essential criteria
As the successful candidate you MUST have:
- a minimum 5 years delivering solution design services for government programs and/or projects (federal or state)
- demonstrated experience developing end to end solution designs that meet business requirements,
- demonstrated experience providing user-centric, business outcome focussed solutions, guidance and assistance with a focus on continual improvement
- experience delivering change for vessel safety (road, air, maritime) or other applicable regulatory functions
Desirable criteria
As the successful candidate you SHOULD have
- experience delivering design-related activities related to incident, emergency or first responder management
- experience developing business blueprinting or other detailed non-technical outcome focussed overview documentation
- experience using solution designs, blueprints, organisation strategies/plans and other project documentation to develop or contribute to the development of business cases
