The T&E Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and reporting on COSPO T&E activities including demonstrating to the COSPO Design Acceptance Authority Representative (DAAR), and the user community that the delivered system meets technical regulatory requirements and fulfils user needs.
The T&E manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in the planning, conduct and reporting of T&E activities.
Essential Criteria
- Australian Government, Defence and/or Defence Industry experience
- Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) experience, and Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E) in the Defence environment
- IT Project Management
Desirable Criteria
- Military operations knowledge
- Systems engineering
- Cyberspace warfare
- Analyse test results and Report Test outcomes to Program Management Office (PMO) staff in a timely manner
- Deploy and manage Test Team resources during Test events
- Analyse and store OQE against requirements
- Assist CEng/DCEng in preparation and updating of the EMS
- Update Test Management Plan as Required
- Communicate with T&E stakeholders (SDMO,JCG)
- Liaise with End User groups for T&E activities and Requirements V&V
- Provide advice to client staff on Test V&V
- Coach and mentor the client team
- Ensure consistent communication and flow of information across channels within the COSPO team, to senior executives and other stakeholders that is tailored to their needs
