Security Clearance:
 Currently hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher security clearance. In this instance it is not sufficient to have only completed and submitted a security pack to the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) prior to commencement.

SFIA Level – SINT Level 5

The Test Automation and Integration Engineer will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

 Planning, Coordination and control of test automation/integration testing activities and test cases.
 Development of test automation, including the approach and strategy for the non-production test environment.
 Carry out design and installation of a Microfocus based test management tools, including but not limited to Octane, Unified Functional Tester, and Loadrunner.
 Assist with the integration of the test management tools, to alternate external DEV/SEC/OPS tools including requirements management, release management or workflow tools.
 Development of test automation scripts and smoke tests;
 Manage the administration of testing scripts (including unit, integration, capacity, system, user acceptance and release), to maintain compatibility with existing systems, applications, hardware and devices, as they relate to joint capabilities;
 Author, review, contribute and develop Build, Deployment and Monitoring standards for test and integration activities, in accordance with the surrounding landscape including: specifications (functional, governance, performance) and requirements (functional, processual, procedural, security) outline and translate those into operational documentation;
 Report to the Test Manager in relation to status of activities, identified risks and task completion at a high enough level to allow upward communication through the organisation chain of command.

Required Skills and Experience:
 5-10 years of demonstrated experience as an automated tester Installing and configuring Test and Evaluation testing tools, with a strong preference for Microfocus(opentext) Test products;
 3-4 years of experience in setting up an automation framework using cucumber/selenium and experience in configuring CD/CI tools like Jenkins, Ansible or any other tools.
 2 years of experience with UFT or similar automation tools.
 Demonstrable experience with JSON, PowerShell, Python or similar technologies and be able to automate through REST API;
 Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas

Desirable Skills and Experience
 Experience working within the Testing suite of tools environment
 Experience with networking technologies, particularly with network layers and segmentation;
 Relevant Microfocus certifications including Microfocus ATP, CIS, CNAA or CSE;
 Experience with load testing using Load runner or JMeter for network simulations.
