Security Clearance:
 Have and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance and ability to upgrade to NV2 as required and requested by the Commonwealth.
 Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance preferred.

 

SFIA Level – SINT 4

The Warfighting Interoperability SME will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

Implement analysis into a Mission Data Model, design, development and integration advice and activities relating to the FMN Spiral Framework, FMN C3 Taxonomy, and related standards; providing definition, advice and traceability architecture inputs to key stakeholders.

Implement the need analysis, design, creation, development and input captures to establish an initial release Mission Data Model

Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to both ad-hoc and regular intervals, compiling presentation products and messaging aides to ensure simplified and clear messaging of complex concepts

Use broad knowledge of technology and ICT systems integration to complement analysis conducted with real world experience and insight.

Have a rapid and flexible ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, adapting them into definitive and deliverable functional descriptions that are able to be measured against parameters of success or failure.

Required Skills and Experience:
 Knowledge and deep understanding of ICT Systems Integration

 Knowledge and deep understanding of interoperability frameworks, preferably FMN Spirals

 Knowledge and understanding of Data Modelling, including tools, practices and sustainment, as well as methodologies to create views and viewpoints

 Knowledge and demonstrated outcomes of achieving high quality presentation as well as messaging of complex concepts to stakeholders varying from deep technical stakeholders up to and including to senior leadership

 Knowledge and deep understanding in representing the capture of numerous standards, visualizing by order of precedence and prescribing their relationship to complex superior architectures, in order to support SME implementations

Desirable Skills and Experience

 A minimum of 8 years of related experience, or a degree in a related field.

 Knowledge of systems engineering, design and design assurance processes in Defence ICT Delivery

 Driven and motivated approach to understanding emerging concepts, adapting as capabilities mature to ensure the leading edge of innovation is maintained

 Experience working within the Defence &/or secure environments

 Knowledge and deep understanding of interface definitions, development, capture and documentation

 SAFe Agile, DevSecOps, Jira or TOGAF certifications/experience

 Exposure to ADF communications planning, management, execution, training or enabling

 GUI and CLI based technology experience

 Knowledge of networking (CCNA level), as well as COTS cryptography ciphers and algorithms, PKI etc

 Experience in Enterprise Architecture using prescribed language methods and formalization
