Brad Nagle and Sam Faraj from Kirra Services recently participated in an incredible event called Shitbox Rally, officially endorsed and supported by Cancer Council. When you think of the word rally, one thing is certain – you will have to get your hands dirty or spend time away from civilization. And that’s exactly what it was. But we must admit – it has been exactly what we’ve been looking for.

This rally was for those who wanted to have an adventure, who craved something different, who wanted to make new life-long friends, took part in something memorable, but most importantly, it was for those who wanted to raise much needed money for charity. We not only wanted to raise awareness and money for Cancer Council, but also wanted to offer support and a friendly ear to those that have suffered or are suffering.
Therefore, this was not a race, rather a challenge to achieve the unthinkable. To drive cars worth just $1,500 across Australia via some of its most formidable roads, all in the name of charity.

This was incredible achievement for us at Kirra. Finally, that can be easily confirmed by the words of our Principal Consultant Sam Faraj:
What an event and what an experience. Well done to the Shitbox Rally team. The amount of work and organisation to pull this off is nothing short of incredible. So lucky to have been apart of it and raise funds for the cancer council!
Thanks once again to Shitbox Rally team and the Cancer Council – we promise we will continue to spread cancer awareness not only during the events like these, but on every step we can.
