About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in SAP Ariba and/or SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (PS2P) processes. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, functional consultants, and technical teams to support procurement transformation initiatives, process improvements, and system implementations.
This role requires the ability to analyse business requirements, document processes, support solution design, and ensure business needs are effectively translated into functional and technical solutions within SAP procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements and acceptance criteria for requirements.
- Support procurement technology development initiatives involving SAP Ariba and/or SAP S/4HANA
- Analyse and map current and future-state P2P processes and ensure requirements align to these processes
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops, process walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions
- Support solution design discussions with functional and technical teams
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices
- Work closely with testing teams to validate business scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including test preparation and issue resolution
- Assist with defect analysis and validation during testing phases
- Prepare business process documentation, training materials, and user guides
- Support data validation, reporting requirements, and deployment activities where required
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and implemented system functionality
Skills/Experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst within Source to Pay operational environments
- Hands-on exposure to SAP Ariba and/or SAP- Experience as a Business Analyst within SAP procurement environments is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (P2P) processes including:
- Sourcing (RFx, evaluation, award)
- Requisitions, purchase order, goods receipts, invoicing, supplier management, approval workflows
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Ability to create process maps, business workflows, and functional documentation
- Understanding of system integration points between procurement and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Ariba modules such as:
- Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA procurement configuration or implementation projects
- Familiarity with testing processes including SIT and UAT
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or SAP Solution Manager
- SAP-related certifications are advantageous
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline
- Relevant Business Analysis or SAP certifications are desirable
